Mapping architectural

20 years of the House of Magic

Designed in homage to Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin, pioneer of electricity, this original work combined the technique of video mapping, live music and the magical art of conjuring in a unique way. For the 20th anniversary of the Maison de la Magie, magnificent colorful, poetic and spectacular paintings transformed the facade of the home of the famous French illusionist.

Located opposite the Royal Castle of Blois in a large bourgeois house, the Maison de la Magie is an essential cultural place in the history of the city. Inaugurated in 1998, Robert-Houdin's residence celebrated its 20th anniversary and over time became a reference museum in terms of sound and light as well as one of the cradles of Illusion in Europe.

Magic Fusion called on Studio ÉNORME to design a series of interactive animated boards. Multiple nods to watchmaking, references to card games, automata and the mythical bestiary of the time allowed the famous residence to prove that magic continued to exist even today. 41 musicians from the orchestra of the Blois Music Conservatory played on the original compositions of Samuel Safa and the magician François Normag organized tricks to accompany the event.
